Contacts
The people at your accounts — their details, account linkage, engagement, and per-channel consent.
A contact is a person at one of your accounts. Contacts come from two places: the leadership roster Pact builds during enrichment (CEO, CFO, CTO, and other named executives), and the people you add by hand as you work a deal. Both behave the same way once they exist.
Contact fields
Every contact carries a small set of core fields, most of them editable inline from the list or the detail page:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Name | The person's display name |
| Title | Job title |
| Primary corporate email | |
| Phone | Primary phone number |
| Account | The company the contact belongs to |
| Owner | The rep who owns the relationship |
The Account link ties the contact to a company. Open it to see firmographics, the buying committee, and everything else on the account detail page. You can also reach a single account's people from its View all link.
Custom fields and lifecycle stage
Contacts use the core fields above. Custom fields and a per-contact lifecycle stage are not available on contacts today — lifecycle stage lives at the account level.
Consent and compliance
Consent is first-class on every contact. The list shows a consent badge — Opted in, Opted out, Pending, Implied, or Unknown — so you can read a contact's status at a glance.
The Consent tab on the detail page is a full purpose-by-channel matrix. Channels are email, SMS, voice, and tracking; purposes are marketing, transactional, analytics, profiling, and product updates. Each cell shows the current state with buttons to grant or withdraw. Pact infers the applicable jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, CASL, PIPL, LGPD, PIPEDA) from the company's HQ location and applies the right rules.
From the same tab you can launch a Data Subject Access Request for an export or right-to-erasure. Suppression — bounces, complaints, and stop requests — is enforced before any send. See Consent management and DSAR for the full model.
Engagement signals
The engagement panel summarizes how a contact interacts with your outreach over a selectable window (7, 30, or 90 days), each metric compared to the prior period:
- Open, click, and reply rates
- Bounce, unsubscribe, and frequency-capped rates
- A delivery funnel: queued → sent → delivered → opened → clicked → replied
Alongside email, the panel surfaces intent signals (page visits, news mentions, competitor checks), enrichment passes, notes, and CRM stage changes.
AI features
- Enrich runs a background job to fill in a contact's details. Choose a quick, standard, or deep pass depending on how many sources you want Pact to consult.
- The AI sparkle in the header suggests the next-best action for the contact.
- Buyer Lens surfaces intent and firmographic signals as a persona view.
The contact list
The list shows Name, Title, Account, Email, Phone, Owner, Consent, and Last activity, with columns collapsing on narrow screens. Search matches name, email, and title; you can scope to one account or to a leadership role. Add contacts with Add contact, by scanning a business card (OCR), or with a voice note. On mobile, long-press a row for quick actions: edit, add to sequence, share, or delete.
