Magic Compose is an AI writing assistant that lives in any editable field. It helps you draft, tighten, translate, and personalize text without leaving the form you're in. It uses a live Claude model.
Opening it
While focused in a field, press ⌘/ (or Ctrl+/), or use the floating ✨ button on a focused text area.
What it can do
- Continue — extend what you've started.
- Improve — clearer, shorter, longer, friendlier, more formal, or a grammar fix.
- Translate — Spanish, French, or Chinese.
- Reformat — restructure the text.
- Personalize — tailor the copy for the contact.
Preview before you commit
One AI call returns a word-level diff you can preview. Then choose:
- Accept — apply the suggestion.
- Try again — fetch a fresh variant. Try again bypasses the cache so you get a genuinely new result.
Gating
Magic Compose is double-gated:
- A workspace feature flag, and
- per-user enablement.
AI runs only when configured
Magic Compose calls a live Claude model and runs only when AI is configured for your workspace.
Brand voice
When a brand voice is configured for the workspace, it folds into the prompt automatically and the result is marked brand-voice-applied, so output stays on-message.
Cost controls
- A 24-hour content cache serves identical requests for free.
- A per-workspace daily cap limits calls (default 500).

Reuse is free
Identical requests hit the 24-hour cache at no cost. Use Try again only when you genuinely want a different draft.
